What we collect
We only collect what's necessary to provide the service:
- Email address - for account login and password recovery
- Name (optional) - to personalize your experience
- Expense data - the amounts, descriptions, categories, and dates you enter
How we protect your data
- Your password is securely hashed using industry-standard encryption
- All connections are encrypted with HTTPS
- Sensitive expense descriptions are encrypted in our database
- We enforce strong password requirements (minimum 12 characters)
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data to anyone
- We don't use third-party analytics or tracking
- We don't share your financial information with advertisers
- We don't send marketing emails
Your rights
You're in control of your data:
- Export - Download all your expenses as a CSV file anytime
- Delete - Permanently delete your account and all associated data
- Access - View and edit all your data through the app
Data retention
Your data is kept as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed from our servers immediately. We don't keep backups of deleted accounts.
